Snoop Dogg just added a surprising new title to his already stacked resume, and it’s related to Team USA. As the Winter Olympics prepare to kick off in Milan-Cortina in February, Team USA revealed that the rapper will step into a brand-new role designed specifically for him.

Snoop Dogg, who has worked with NBC in its Olympic coverage in the past and will do so again in 2026, is known for his love of sports. His Snoop Youth Football League has supported more than 15,000 young athletes, including youth with disabilities. Team USA called him a “natural fit” for the role.

Snoop Dogg has been appointed Team USA’s honorary coach for the 2026 Winter Olympics, bringing humour, motivation and star power.
