KGW has issued a Weather Impact Alert for Tuesday and Wednesday due to the potential for flooding on some rivers and at urban intersections with poor drainage.

Rain from the system that moved through the metro area on Sunday will stick around into the early afternoon Monday. Portland will see a high temperature of near 50 degrees Monday, but the National Weather Service expects temps to cool behind this system creating chilly overnight and a cold start to Tuesday.
