Portlanders gathered on Saturday to call for ICE out of Portland and to condemn the death of another person in Minneapolis at the hands of federal agents.

PORTLAND, Ore. — A shooting in Southeast Portland left one person dead early Monday morning, Portland police confirmed. The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood. EMTs were called out to the area of SE 134th Avenue and SE Harold Street for reports that someone wasn't breathing.

Two boys, aged 12 and 15, were arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of a Portland store worker, Santi Ram Rai, with charges including murder and robbery.
