The Big Ten matched The Associated Press Top 25 women’s basketball record with nine ranked teams as Nebraska entered at No. 24 on Monday. The conference set the mark last year on Dec. 2 and this week has three teams in the top 10 alone.
The Generals had a sterling season last year, winning the Valley Wheel conference with a 23-2 record and winning the WMass Class B title. But arguably their crowning achievement last season was ending Central’s 57-game winning streak against WMass competition after defeating the Golden Eagles, 51-49 on Jan. 3, 2025.

UCF Men’s Basketball played its best first half of the season to date with 47 first-half points as the Knights dominated Towson 86–61 on Sunday afternoon in Addition Financial Arena, improving to 8–1, which is the best start in Johnny Dawkins’ tenure at UCF.
A 6-foot-5 point guard, Keathley has already developed a reputation as a high-scoring, do-it-all prep player. Last season as a sophomore at Prestonsburg, Keathley was the top scorer in Kentucky high school basketball at 34.3 points per game. He was also one of the state’s top rebounders (10.0 boards per contest).
